Francesca Lucci

Francesca Lucci is a Rome-based graphic designer, video art director and motion graphic producer specialized in communication and multi-media products for large multi-nationals and international organizations (FAO, IAEA and the European Union).

Francesca has developed an interest in the impact of food production and food practices on the environment through her work with the Food and Agriculture Organization and in particular through collaborations such as the FAO/ Norwegian Government Svalbard Global Seed Vault that preserves duplicates of seeds deep in the permafrost that contributes to global food security.  Latterly she has been working together with the University of Gastronomic Sciences (UNISG) and FAO for a EU project related to underutilized crops to enhance the value and best organic food practices of different farms in Europe.


Francesca has a diploma in languages from the Rome Tourism Technical Institute and a Master degree in Illustration from the European Institute of Design.  She is currently working on a Master in Communication and new digital media at the Telematic University of Florence.
