Sandra Reaño

Sandra is a music producer but has always wondered how food explains all aspects of human life, from culture to climate change. After working in theater and event production, she decided to follow her passion for food and sustainability, which led her to actively collaborate with her local Slow Food community in Lima, Peru, and to support a community of practice of Peruvian food producers dedicated to preserving their agrobiodiversity and ancestral agricultural traditions.

These experiences led her to pursue a master's degree in Food Cultures and World Mobility at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, where she met Jane. Through her, she had the privilege of learning about the stories, recipes, traditions and, most importantly, the people of Cerretino. Given her focus on food traditions and the role of local knowledge in sustainable food practices, Terre di Cerretino's mission resonated with her and she joined the project by collaborating to research local recipes and ingredients.
