Valentina Fusco
Valentina was born in Rome, but grew up among the hills of the Tuscan Maremma, in the province of Grosseto. From a young age, she developed a strong connection with nature, which continues to nurture her work and worldview.
A set designer and art therapist, she designs and leads creative workshops for adults and children. She uses botanical printing techniques with printing ink, working with leaves, flowers, and other natural elements. Her work is inspired by a theme, which unfolds through the relationship with materials, in a continuous dialogue between matter and nature.
For the past five years, Valentina has also dedicated herself to cooking, paying particular attention to the quality of ingredients and the seasonality of produce. When she encountered the Terre di Cerretino project, she immediately recognised shared values: respect for the land, slowness, and artisanal practices as part of daily life, which form the foundation of her worldview and artistic practice.
Through her work with Terre di Cerretino, Valentina finds joy in connecting with people, building authentic relationships, and collecting and sharing stories about culinary memories, which become part of a collective and living heritage.
